It is required to make 1 month’s payment, plus a $10 application fee, when signing the contract. The payment (excluding the application fee) is applied to your contract term.
You will not receive an invoice until the unit has been delivered to you, and you have signed the Delivery Approval Sheet. Your payment will then be due around 30 days after the delivery date.
The Rent To Own contract is a month-to-month agreement. You can terminate your contract at any time. Just notify the RTO company and they will schedule a convenient time to retrieve the unit.
No. There are no penalties or extra fees for paying off your contract early. In fact, paying off your contract early can save you money.
The 90 days starts when the building is delivered to your property. To find out when the 90 day option will end on your contract, contact your RTO company and they will get that information to you.
Keep in mind that you will need to make a monthly payment until your building is paid in full.
